Ministers to the physical and emotional needs of families of the church or community. Processes all requests for benevolence among members of the church, their relatives, or persons in the community.
OUR COMMITMENT
If anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need but has no pity on him, how can the love of God be in him? Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth. I John 3:17-18
OUR FOCUS
Family Services primary focus is to assist Wayside families and individuals who are in need of emergency assistance.
The FAMILY SERVICES MINISTRY is a Christian Ministry offering temporary assistance to Wayside family church members, and families who are members of a local church.
We also offer assistance to those who are homeless. You must request assistance with a referral from a local church (unless homeless). Our assistance depends on availability of food, funds and information. We ask that you tell us who referred you to our ministry.
Our assistance is generally given on a one time and /or emergency basis, and if we have funds available. We want to help you look forward with options to help you through your current situation.

Please complete WBC Family Services Request for Assistance Form. We will review the form and schedule a meeting to discuss your situation. Please allow some time for the committee to meet to review your situation.

Family Services is supported by monetary, food and clothing donations. To make a monetary contribution to Family Services use your Benevolence envelope, or leave your donation in the church office specifically marked "Family Services."
Donations: Clean, useable clothing, Gift Cards, Non-expired food and sundries can be left in the plastic containers at the main sanctuary entrances or left in the church offices during the week. Furniture, computers, appliances can be donated but cannot be stored so leave information with church staff.
Note: We do not give cash to anyone but pay utility or pharmacy directly
